Cindy and I went on vacation the last week in April; we had a great time. It was nice getting away by ourselves for most of the trip. We did a lot of driving, we wanted to see a lot of lot of stuff. We went to Biltmore House, Shaker Village, Stone Mountain, etc. We spent the last four days of our vacation with Cindy's family in northeastern George in a rental cabin call Double Eagle Cabin. It was a secluded cabin with a lot of peace and quiet, something all of us needed at the time. The weather cooperated and stayed nice for most of the trip.

Things are going well. It seems that spring has finally sprung; the grass is turning green and the flowers are beginning to bloom. The kids (Sandra, grandkids & Lillie) are all great. I believe Toby's tired of being in the house and wants to go outside to play all the time. Mia is attempting to crawl; it's a combination of crawling and rolling, but she's becoming mobile.

Cindy and Sandra a working hard at college. I finished my 8 week "Digital Photography for Beginners" course and have signed up for the next course. I'll be adding more pictures to the photo album soon.

We've had an interesting couple of days. On Monday, January 26th, we got about 4 1/2" of snow. It was a little difficult getting around, but we managed. Then on Tuesday, January 27th, there was an additional 7 inches of snow. Needless to say, we were stuck at home on Wednesday; we weren't able to get out of the driveway. Toby and I got out in the snow Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. There are some pictures in the photo album "Winter 2009".
