How Can I Have a Relationship With Jesus

As we go about our daily lives, if you'll take the time to notice, there is love all around you. People holding hands or kissing, love songs on the radio, TV advertisers trying to convince you, that if you buy their product, someone will love you more, you're being invited to a wedding just about every weekend, etc... Sometimes we hate to admit it, but love is what makes the world go around.
God loves you and He wants to have a love relationship with you. He wants to spend time with you, if you'll let Him. That relationship is so important to God that He made the ultimate love sacrifice for you. He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for you to allow that relationship to continue in heaven and throughout eternity. So if you would like to know how to have that type of relationship with God, please read the following:

The Bible says

Romans 3:10 - As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; (No one is good enough)

Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (All have sinned, we've all made mistakes)

Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Because of love, Jesus paid the death penalty for our sins)

Romans 5:12 - Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned (Death came to everyone because of Adam)

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Eternal life is a free gift from God)

Romans 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart)

Romans 10:13 - for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Ask God to save you and He will)

All these verses were taken from the New International Version (NIV) Bible

There is nothing that you can do to work your way into heaven. Giving money to charities, volunteering at a hospital or being a "GOOD" person will not earn your way into heaven. The Bible says in John 14:6 "Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV) God "gave us" the only way to get to heaven and that's through Jesus Christ. In Revelations 3:20 (This is Jesus speaking) "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with me." (NIV) God does not force us into this relationship, that's our choice. He is standing and waiting at the door to your heart. All He asks you to do is to listen to His voice calling out to you, open the door to your heart, and invite Him in. Jesus is calling you now.

Beginning that relationship with Him is simple; just say this prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus,I am sorry for my sins. I am asking you to forgive me, come into my life and be my Lord and my Savior. I believe you died to pay the price for my sins, that you were buried and were raised from the dead on the third day. I will now serve you all the days of my life.

If you said that prayer and really mean it, you now belong to Jesus. Email me now to let me know what's happened in your life. The angels in heaven are now rejoicing because of your decision and I'd like to rejoice with them. Also, call someone (a family member, friend, co-worker, etc..) and share the good news of what God has done in your life.
